Before you book please click here to discover the hostel quirks.

When you book we'll need to know:
  • dates of arrival and departure
  • number of people
  • type of accomodation required  ie Dorm, Bunk-Room, Family/Friends Room or Twin Room
  • if Dorm: Women's, Men's or Mixed? Are mezzanine beds (steep ladder access) suitable?
  • your name, email address and phone numbers
Payment by PayPal or cheque will be required to confirm your booking.
(Please see Your Accommodation on the Home page for room types/prices.)
  • Check-in is between 5pm and 8pm (contact us to arrange unavoidable late arrivals); early arrivals may wait in our large comfortable lobby and help themselves to tea/coffee.
  • Check-out is between 9am and 10am (let us know the evening before if you're leaving early).
  • The hostel closes 10.30am-5pm (except for the lobby).
Please note our kitchen, though very clean and well-stocked with crockery and utensils, is a little on the small side. We have a large 4-ring cooker, a standard-sized domestic fridge and a single sink (plus kettles and toasters). We aim to improve the kitchen as soon as we can; until then, we hope you'll be patient as you take turns with other guests. Alternatively, Hebden Bridge has a wide range of eateries; from takeaways with free delivery to bistros, pubs, a wine-bar and restaurants to suit all budgets.    Hebden Bridge Dining Guide.

PLEASE NOTE: For safety reasons and to comply with the law:
  • Children under the age of 14 can only be accommodated in private rooms, not dorms.

  • 14-16 year olds, accompanied by a same-sex parent or guardian, can stay in single-sex dorms.
  • Under 18's to be accompanied and supervised by a parent/guardian during their stay.
  • Mezzanine beds are not suitable for under 7's due to risk of falling.
