Hostel closed from November 5th til December 2nd 2020.
We will return to these changes when we reopen.
HOW OUR HOSTEL IS ADAPTING TO KEEP YOU SAFE
The dorms, bunkroom, diy kitchen and shared toilets are closed for now… instead we have lovely, private, en-suite rooms with hot drink stations for up to 6 people. These rooms are available for singles, couples, households or social bubbles. Organic cereal breakfast is included in the price, served to your room or to be enjoyed on our patio.
Communal lounges are closed but we’re surrounded by spacious woodland and moors – you can definitely get your nature fix here without worrying about crowds.
The hostel will be closed between 10.30am and 5pm. Hebden Bridge town is open and you can help support our little local businesses by enjoying a meal al fresco, shopping in the open air market and browsing the independent shops. Or mooch along the waterways, chill in the park and explore the footpaths and heritage of this unique town.
We’ll be limiting the number of guests we accept – oh so exclusive! – to make sure there’s a whole day between a room becoming empty and it being cleaned, followed by several more hours lying clean and empty before it is inhabited again.
Regulations mandate all guests wear a face covering in the hostel lobby, reception, stairway and corridors. We’ll be strictly adhering to social distancing and enhanced hygiene – we want you and our crew to feel safe here.
Anyone experiencing coronavirus-like symptoms during their stay must inform us immediately in as safe a way as possible – ideally by phone or email, otherwise at a distance while wearing a face covering – and should return home immediately to self-isolate, along with anyone else staying in the same room or having close contact.

If anyone reports coronavirus-like symptoms while staying or working at the hostel we will follow Public Health advice including deep disinfecting, quarantining as required, and communicating transparently with other guests.
